1. Progressive relaxation Progressive relaxation commonly refers to the process of first tensing, and then relaxing, the muscles of the body. Once you are completely relaxed you need to create pleasant and relaxing images in your mind which will allow your mind to escape somewhere calm and quite in an imaginary world. Simply imagine a situation and its ideal outcome. It will greatly lessen your anxiety about an incident which will probably happen in the future, for instance childbirth, surgery, competition or an interview.

4.Quiet ears relaxation technique To perform this technique simply lie down and allow your body to relax. When you are done with this just close your eyes and place your hands behind your head and close the ear canal with your thumb.

5.White noise relaxation technique White noise is referred as the random signal with a flat power spectral density or the frequency between two radio stations. White noise will provide you a sensational effect exactly like the soothing sound of the rain or the wind beneath the trees in a forest.
