In dealing with stress and anxiety most of us complain that we are victims of life. We blame our parents, friends, co-workers, and governments for those problems we think are "personal". We face these problems by avoiding them or burying them deep within us; however, this merely increases the stress that we blame for our condition.
We deny (and relinquish) the chance to overcome our challenges and follow any greater guidance that is available to us. Some of the obvious indications of this process are anger, breakdown of the family structure, poverty, pollution, disease, war and lack of human and global compassion.
The Key to Vision and Happiness
The key to increased perception and happiness for individuals and societies is a simple one: we must acknowledge that every person and every group is/are solely and collectively responsible for the stress and unhappiness of every individual and group
Resolving Stress
All self-developed leaders that are genuine share one common trait that is lacking in those of us that are still searching: charisma. And the keys to charisma are self-esteem and self-love.
The following is a simple way to promote your self-esteem:
1. Start and continue a notebook into which you write only about your growing self-esteem. Every night, journal about seven positive results you created that day. Do it right before going to sleep, so that you harness the power of your subconscious mind while you sleep.
2. Every few months read the list of positive results that you have created which you have recorded in your self-esteem journal.
Remember that what you write can be as simple as, "I took time out of my busy schedule to relax and eat in quiet," or, "I was exceptionally patient with a co-worker with whom I am often in conflict."
Eventually, you become what you think about, which is what you are writing about. You will change your perspective of yourself to a more positive one and live your life in ways that reflect your improved attitude about yourself. Your love towards you will replace the negativity that you are willing to relinquish. Sharing and abundance will inevitably replace isolation and poverty.
